Stewart Tormey aka Malcolm Funktion has been involved in producing and mixing music for more than 15 years. Having started off playing some of Dublin’s top clubs at just 17, Stewart soon had a reputation for playing some of the hardest and most sought after techno during the late 90’s and ran his own club-night and record store in between. Concentrating more on producing, Stewart patiently experimented and waited to find a specific sound that motivated him into creating the type of music he wanted. Starving for something new, Malcolm Funktion has now dove head first into the Hard Electro-trash era, bringing with him his enthusiasm, experience and talent. With a string of remixes and originals on numerous labels, Malcolm is fast becoming recognized as he claws his way through the industry with a relentless attitude. Expect to hear and see a lot more of this dedicated artist in the future.
